Yusei Kikuchi in agreement with Angels on three-year, $63M contract

Free-agent LHP Yusei Kikuchi in agreement with Angels on three-year, $63M contract, per Ken Rosenthal.

Kikuchi, 33, is a starting pitcher who has been in the league since 2019 and was a 2021 All-Star. He wasn’t his best to start his career in the MLB but the past few years he has been looking really good. Angels continue to be aggressive in the offseason.

He now joins Jorge Soler, Scott Kingery, Ryan Noda, Kyle Hendricks, Travis d’Arnaud, and Kevin Newman as the new acquisitions this offseason.
