The Los Angeles Angels have signed 2B Adam Frazier to a minor league contract, which includes an invitation to Spring Training. Frazier, 34, is a 10-year MLB veteran and was a 2021 All-Star. Frazier had some good years but was on the decline. Last season with the Royals he was solid with a .267 AVG, 7 HR, 44 RBI, .684 OPS in 419 at-bats. The Angels have agreed to terms with free-agent RHP Hunter Strickland on a minor-league contract. Strickland, 37, spent the past 2 seasons with the Angels and was a solid reliever. He had a 3.31 ERA in 2024 and 3.27 ERA last season. 71 Ks in 91 total games with the Angels. Would be nice to see him in the bullpen again this season if he does well in Spring Training. The Angels have acquired LHP Jayvien Sandridge from the New York Yankees in exchange for cash considerations. In a corresponding 40-man roster move, RHP Osvaldo Bido was designated for assignment.
