LA Kings Trade Deadline Day Recap: ⚪️The Kings have acquired Scott Laughton from Toronto for a conditional 3rd-round pick. The pick becomes a 2nd-round pick if Los Angeles makes the playoffs. Laughton, 31, is a former 1st round pick. The LA Kings have acquired standout forward Artemi Panarin from the NY Rangers in exchange for a conditional third-round pick and prospect Liam Greentree, per Adam Schefter. The LA Kings have announced the following roster transactions: - Defenseman Joe Hicketts has been recalled from the Ontario Reign, the Kings’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, on emergency basis. - Forward Kenny Connors has been loaned to Ontario (AHL). Hicketts, 29, has a chance to make his Kings debut and return to NHL for the first time since 2020, though he was only recalled for “on emergency basis.” He has 3 goals, 11 assists in 41 games with the Reign this season.
