Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on. First off-

⚫️LAFC had 2 games last week and tied both 0:0 so they only got 2 points. First place doesn’t really seem realistic anymore with 8 points out and only 4 games left. Doesn’t seem like St. Louis is going to bottle it. But LAFC have to at least win a few of their next games because they’re only 2 points away from falling out of the top 4 which means they can lose home field advantage.

⚪️LA Galaxy had 2 games as well last week. Won 1, tied 1. They have 5 games left and they’re 5 points out. Seems that Galaxy need to start winning every single remaining game to get in. All those bottom half teams expect Colorado will be pushing hard for wins and Galaxy will need to as well or their playoff hopes will be gone.

🔵Dodgers have 7 games left with 3.5 games behind Atlanta Braves for the best record in MLB. Doesn’t really seem realistic that they’ll pass the Braves but anything can happen. At least the Dodgers have clinched the NL West and a first-round bye.

🔴No update as Angels are out of playoff contention. Just 5 games left for them and that’s it in 2023 for the Angels.

🟡Chargers finally picked up their first win of the season! It’s still super early in the season and it’s anyone’s division in the AFC West but at least they’re not 0-3.

⚪️Rams lost Week 3. It was a game they should have won and now sit 2 games behind first place. Luckily, only Week 3 has passed so a lot of time still left in the season.
