Here’s your weekly update on team standings for Los Angeles sports, as of 2/9. Football season is officially over and baseball and MLS start this month! First off-

THE NBA REPORT 🏀

🟣 Lakers (32-19): Lakers had a 3-0 week, and moved up to 5th place in the West. Only a game back from 3rd seed and 3.5 games back from the 2nd seed. Anything can happen with around 30 games to go in the season.

Clippers (25-27): Clippers went 2-2 last week. After starting 6-21, they’ve gone 19-6 in their last 25 games! However, with Harden and Zubac gone this is a brand new team. Lawrence Frank claims they’re still trying to win it all. Clippers remain in 9th seed. Can they?

THE NHL REPORT 🏒

⚫️ Anaheim Ducks (30-23-3): Anaheim Ducks are 1-0-0 since the last standings update and with the Winter Olympics, there will be no hockey for the next 3 weeks. Ducks will remain 4th in the Pacific during this break, and 5 points out of 1st place.

⚪️ LA Kings (23-19-14): LA Kings had a 0-2-0 week and remain in 5th in the Pacific. If the playoffs started today, they would not be in the playoffs. With 30ish games left, the Kings need to step it up.
