Here’s your weekly update on team standings for Los Angeles sports, as of 2/2. Happy Black History Month! First off-

THE NBA REPORT 🏀

🟣 Lakers (29-19): After a 2-2 week, the Lakers fall to 6th place in the West. With only a few games separating 4th and 8th, every win is massive.

Clippers (23-25): Clippers went 2-1 last week. After starting 6-21, they’ve gone 17-4 in their last 21 games! They have now moved up to the 9th seed. One of the hottest teams in the past few months!

THE NHL REPORT 🏒

⚫️ Anaheim Ducks (29-23-3): Anaheim Ducks are 1-2-0 since the last standings update. After winning 7 in a row things cooled down a bit. They now fell to 4th in the Pacific— but still just 3 points out of 1st place!

⚪️ LA Kings (23-17-14): Finding their footing. A 2-1-1 week has the Kings remain in 5th in the Pacific (60 pts). With 30ish games left, the battle for the Pacific playoff spots is a war. ⚔️
