Angels pitcher Robert Stephenson is out for the season with an elbow injury, the team announced. He’d been dealing with arm pain since before the season start and now it’s confirmed he’s out for a while. More details will come tomorrow.

Stephenson had signed a three-year, $33 million contract this offseason and was an option as the Angels closer. He didn’t play a single game this year.
