Lakers Semi-Finals Opponent is Set!

Lakers next opponent is set! They will play the defending champion, Golden State Warriors, in the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals! This is going to be a great series! Both teams were below expectations (Lakers 7th seed, Warriors 6th seed) in the regular season but killing it in the postseason. Lakers have the better front court with LeBron James and Anthony Davis while Warriors have the better back court with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Donte DiVincenzo. In order for the Lakers to win the series, Anthony Davis is going to need to play his best basketball as it will be harder for the Warriors to match him since they really don't have anyone except Kevin Looney to guard him. Same goes for Steph Curry, who is almost impossible to guard. This is why this series will be good and likely go down to a Game 7 decision. If Lakers can beat the Warriors, they will be the real deal and have a good chance at winning it all! Game 1 is Tuesday at Chase Center!
