Jeimer Candelario has signed a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Angels, per Jon Heyman. MLB camp invite. $780K if in majors.
Jeimer Candelario, 32, is a 10-year MLB veteran who primarily plays third base but also 1st and DH. He’s had some nice hitting years but had a poor year last year and battled an injury before getting DFA’d by the Reds. Nice low risk move to test to see if Candelario can bounce back this season and potentially be in the Angels lineup.
