Tampa Bay, Cincinnati and the Los Angeles Angels are in agreement on a deal that will send outfielder Josh Lowe to the Angels, infielder Gavin Lux and right-hander Chris Clark to the Rays and left-handed reliever Brock Burke to the Reds, per Jeff Passan.
Lowe, 27 and a former 1st round pick, has been in the league since 2021 all with the Rays and is a solid left handed hitter. In those 5 seasons, in total he had a .250 AVG, 43 HR, 170 RBI, 79 stolen bases, and a .720 OPS in 403 games. His best year was in 2023 where he had 20 HR, 83 RBI, 32 stolen bases and a .835 OPS. Solid acquisition.
Angels lose reliever Brock Burke after 2 seasons with the Angels. He was a solid reliever but might be worth the sacrifice if it helps the offense.
