Los Angeles Sports Team Standings, As of 9/2

Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on week, as of 9/2. First off-

🔵The Dodgers have gone 4-2 since our last standings update last week. They have regained a 2.5 lead in 1st in the NL West. It’s really close.

🔴The Angels have gone 3-4 since our last standings update. They remain in 4th in the AL West. Going the wrong direction before they’re officially going to be eliminated from playoffs.

⚫️LAFC lost a big match last week in their MLS match but remain in 5th place.

⚪️LA Galaxy did not play an MLS match but finished 3rd in the Leagues Cup to qualify for Champions Cup.

⚫️Angel City FC won their last match. They move to 9th. Just 1 point out of playoffs. 8 games left in the season.

🟣The LA Sparks have gone 2-2 since the last standings update. They remain in 9th place. So close to being in playoff range. 5 games left in the season and they pretty much need to win them all to have a shot at playoffs.
