Here’s your weekly update on team standings for Los Angeles sports, as of 4/6.
THE NBA REPORT 🏀
🟣Los Angeles Lakers (50-28): Lakers had a 2-2 week and remain in 3rd. They officially clinched a postseason spot last week but now 3rd place is in doubt as Doncic and Reaves will miss the rest of the regular season and maybe more. 4 games left, will they finish 3rd?
🔵Los Angeles Clippers (40-38): Clippers went 1-2 last week and remain in 8th place. 4 games left and they’ll realistically finish 8th or 9th. They’re hoping for 8th for less games in the play-in. Can they do it?
THE NHL REPORT 🏒
⚫️Anaheim Ducks (41-31-5):
Anaheim Ducks had a 0-3-1 week and have fallen to 2nd in the Pacific! They had a horrible week and have just 5 games left. The worst time to be slumping. They can still fall to the Wild Card or worse.
⚪️LA Kings (31-26-19): LA Kings went 2-0-1 last week and remain in 4th in the Pacific! They’re tied in points for being in the Wild Card with 6 games left. They need to finish strong to make the playoffs.
THE MLS REPORT ⚽️
⚫️LAFC (5-0-1): LAFC won big last week to remain undefeated this season and the only team to be unbeaten! They remain in 1st. Awesome start to the season!
⚪️LA Galaxy (1-3-2): Galaxy lost their last match and fall to 12th place in the West. Another poor start to the year.
THE NWSL REPORT ⚽️
⚫️Angel City FC (3-1-0): ACFC finally lost their first of the season and fall to 4th place.
THE MLB REPORT ⚾️
🔵Dodgers (7-2): The Dodgers had a 4-2 week and remain in 1st in the NL West!
🔴Angels (5-5): The Angels had a 3-3 week and remain in 2nd in the AL West.
