The Los Angeles Chargers today signed center Andre James.

James returns to Los Angeles, where he played college football at UCLA, after spending the first six seasons of his pro career with the Raiders (2019-24). He has started 61-of-80 career games (including postseason), taking over as the team’s starting center in 2021. James blocked for running back Josh Jacobs to a Pro Bowl selection and first-team All-Pro honors from The Associated Press in 2022 after leading the NFL with 1,653 rushing yards along with 12 touchdown runs.
