Lakers Sign Alex Len; Waive Wood

Free agent 7-footer Alex Len will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, per Shams Charania. To make room, Lakers waived F/C Christian Wood.

Len has been in the league for 12 seasons and had some solid seasons. Nice depth to add with Jaxson Hayes. Unclear yet if he’ll be the starter going forward. Meanwhile, waiving Wood is tough but he’s dealt with too many injuries and hasn’t played in about a year.
