LAFC nearing deal to sign Canada int’l midfielder Mathieu Choinière from Grasshopper FC, per Tom Bogert.

Choinière, 26, left Montréal for Switzerland last summer. He made 18 apps for the Swiss club. He’s also a former 2x MLS All-Star and has played for Canada’s National Team.
