John McCarthy Moves To NY

The New York Red Bulls agree a deal to acquire goalkeeper John McCarthy from the LA Galaxy, per Tom Bogert.

McCarthy, 33, hasn’t started for the Galaxy since May. It’s clear that Novak Micovic will be the #1 goalkeeper so it was best to move him. McCarthy spent 2 seasons with Galaxy.
