Galaxy Extend Jakob Glesnes

LA Galaxy have agreed to a contract extension with defender Jakob Glesnes through the 2028-29 season. Galaxy originally acquired Glesnes in a trade with Philadelphia Union for $1,100,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) this past December.
Glesnes, 31, looked solid in his 1st few games for the Galaxy. He is also a 3x All-Star and 2022 Defender of the Year.
