Evan Phillips OUT For Season

Dave Roberts said Evan Phillips will have Tommy John surgery on June 4. His season is over. Phillips tried playing catch a couple days ago and it “didn’t go well.”

Phillips was initially placed on the IL on May 7 with forearm discomfort. Tough loss to the bullpen.
