The Anaheim Ducks have traded for LW Jeffrey Viel of the Bruins for a 2026 4th round pick.
Viel, 28, was undrafted and has 10 games with Boston this season, no points, 30 penalty minutes. 64 career NHL games, with all 3 goals and 2 assists coming with San Jose in 2021-22.
In AHL last season, he had 13 goals, 24 assists, and 148 penalty minutes in 68 games.
