LA Dodgers Offseason Grade: A+
It only took 2 major signings to make it a successful offseason. They picked up the best free agent to help in the Outfield and a top closer which they desperately needed. For a team that has won it back-to-back seasons, there’s not much else you need to upgrade. Their worst offensive hitter, Conforto, is now gone and in a way upgraded to Tucker.
It’s tough to lose Kershaw to retirement, Gonsolin cut, Banda traded, etc but the Dodgers are just too stacked with depth and great prospects to need to sign/acquire anyone else. It was also nice to re-sign Kike, Rojas, and Phillips. Therefore, this offseason grade is easily an A+ grade.
