The Dodgers have agreed to terms with free-agent INF Andy Ibanez on a 1-year major league contract.
He had 4 HR with 21 RBI and a .653 OPS in 176 AB with the Tigers last season. Good depth option.
Additionally, Los Angeles Dodgers have claimed IF/OF Ryan Fitzgerald from the Minnesota Twins. Fitzgerald, 31, played in 46 games with Minnesota last season, batting .196/302/.457/758 in 53 plate appearances. He has spent the majority of his career in the Minor Leagues, playing in 708 games with a .258 AVG. and .770 OPS, playing all defensive positions on the field except for catcher.
