The Dodgers acquired RHP Griff McGarry from the Philadelphia Phillies for international pool money.
Who is he? McGarry, 26, is a minor leaguer who once ranked as one of the more promising prospects in Philadelphia’s system, sitting third among Baseball America’s rankings ahead of the 2023 season.
He fell off since then and had an 8.48 ERA in 52 career innings at AAA (only 4 starts).
He has a 2.99 ERA in 159.1 career innings at AA (37 starts).
