The Dodgers are acquiring LHP Zach Penrod from the Red Sox, per Fabrian Ardaya. He had been DFA’d in the aftermath of the Devers trade.

Penrod, 28, is an undrafted player who pitched only 4 innings in the big leagues all last year with Boston as a reliever. He allowed 2 runs, 1 earned run. In 2025, he only pitched in the Minors pitching 7.1 innings and allowing 4 runs and had 9 Ks. Let’s see what the Dodgers do to him.
