Los Angeles is signing guard Kobe Bufkin to a 10-day contract, per Shams Charania. The 2023 15th overall pick has been absolutely tearing it up for the South Bay Lakers, and the front office is ready to see that production translate to the NBA level.
Bufkin has been a walking bucket in the G League this season, averaging a dominant 28.7 PPG along with 5.4 RPG and 5.0 APG. 📈
After a brief stint with the Grizzlies earlier this season, the Michigan product returns to LA with a chance to provide the spark-plug scoring the Lakers bench has been searching for. With his 6’4” height and elite two-way potential, this could be more than just a 10-day stay.
